A Dream Wedding in Florence—Thanks to the Best Planner in Italy! I don’t even know where to begin because words can’t fully capture how grateful I am for everything Elena at Melograno Wedding Lab did to make our wedding in Florence an absolute dream come true. From the very start, she went above and beyond in every single way—meticulously organized, deeply knowledgeable, and incredibly well-connected throughout the region. She had a pulse on everything and made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel joyful and effortless. Not only did she negotiate contracts with confidence and clarity, she always had our best interests at heart. I trusted her completely. Her attention to detail is unmatched—every flower, candle, and table setting felt like a reflection of my heart. And she gave us her full attention like we were her only clients in the world. What truly sets her apart, though, is her heart. She became so much more than a planner—she became my confidante, my biggest cheerleader, and honestly, a lifelong friend. When my husband and I were interviewing wedding vendors, Elena's sensitivity, sincerity, and desire to bring our particular vision to life were immediately obvious. She didn't push us toward a certain venue or partner she favored, but genuinely wanted us to select the vendors with which we were most comfortable. In an industry where planners can be strong-willed or make you feel like they're busy with other clients, Elena stands out in making sure you're completely on board with every decision and also like you're her main priority. As two Americans working incredibly busy jobs (in a different time zone!), I can't emphasize enough how helpful it was for my husband and me to be able to trust Elena's eye for detail, aesthetic taste, and ability to get things done. While we weren't personally familiar with the vendors in Tuscany, Elena is from Florence, lives in the city, and was able to recommend the best. It became clear that she exclusively partners with high-quality vendors and won't suggest any that may cut corners or might jeopardize the outcome on your big day. She took the time to meet with our vendors when we couldn't, modify each individual project until it was perfect, and find solutions when our budget presented constraints. On the wedding weekend itself, Elena and her team ensured we had nothing to worry about - despite a complicated venue and spontaneous road closures for the Tour de France; we had several guests brought to actual tears by the beauty of the table she designed, and many more tell us that it was the most impressive wedding they had ever attended. It was a genuine joy to work with Elena, as a person and as a professional, and to meet the team of support nearest to her (thank you, Lorenzo!). We look forward to seeing her again, and following all of her gorgeous projects on social media into the future!

Elena and Melograno Wedding Lab are the very best and helped me flawlessly propose to my now fiancé in Florence! I worked with Elena to plan, coordinate and execute my proposal to my girlfriend in Florence. I can say without a doubt Elena was a joy to work with and would recommend her for a wedding or proposal in a heartbeat. I'll list concrete examples below, but in summary Elena is the best of the best. Planning: Being that I'm from the United States, Elena made planning a proposal abroad a breeze by providing options for everything from venues to decorations at different price points. She then did all the work to call/vet the vendors/venues. By providing her a few screenshots of my now fiancé's Pinterest, she was able to create the perfect aesthetic for the proposal. Additionally, she was willing to jump on a call whenever to talk through all the options. She walked me through the mood board she put together for the evening and talked me through the rationale for certain design/aesthetic choices. She truly has a talent for design. Coordinating: Elena coordinated with all the vendors flawlessly to ensure everything was ready for the day of the proposal. In fact, the day before the proposal the forecast changed last minute showing it was supposed to rain during the proposal. Elena was able to coordinate with ALL the vendors to change the date by one day on short notice to ensure the proposal was perfect. That's the venue where we were having a private dinner in addition to the proposal, the florist, the photographer and the decoration supplier. Through her ability to communicate effectively and ensure everyone was justly compensated on the vendor side, all parties were happy and we were able to make sure the proposal was perfect. Execution: Everything went off without a hitch day of. My girlfriend was truly shocked in the best way. Elena took such care to make sure every detail was just right and timing for everything was perfect. In addition to being professional and thorough, she also was incredibly kind, whether that was to myself and my fiancé or to the vendors. Once again, I can't recommend Elena and her company enough. If you are planning a wedding or proposal in Tuscany/Florence she's the very best!

The best wedding decision I made was hiring Elena! Not only was she amazing to work with through every step of the way but seeing her work came to life on my wedding day, there was not a single details missed. Her eye and attention to detail was exactly what a Type A bride needed. She handled everything with ease and truly made the most magical weekend of my life while keeping me stress free!
