Cooking in Toscana

The Most Magical Pasta Class in Tuscany! If you’re even thinking about taking a cooking class in Tuscany stop searching and book this one! This adorable husband-and-wife duo made us feel like part of their family from the moment we arrived. Their farmhouse building, surrounded by olive trees and sunlit hills, was straight out of a movie. We learned how to make pasta completely from scratch, tagliatelle that we shaved truffles over and the best tiramisu I’ve ever tasted. They were so patient and funny, sharing family stories and little secrets that made all the difference. My favorite part was rolling the dough together while sipping Prosecco. My group loved it. After cooking, we all sat down to enjoy the meal together at a long wooden table. It was one of those perfect, pinch-me moments you never forget.

Had a lovely and very informative time making ravioli, tiramisu and roasted beef with Chef Mauro while visiting the Lucca area. Was a very easy going and enjoyable cooking class. Hoping to practice what we learned when we get back home!

What an amazing evening with Mauro and Anna!! From the moment we got there and met Tze’ela to the end of the evening sharing desert and stories with Mauro, everything was wonderful and one of the highlights of our sisters trip!! Would definitely recommend and would do this again!!

We spent an absolutely delightful and very well designed evening learning to cook a 4 course Tuscan dinner. Tze’ela and Mauro were fantastic teachers - informative, patient and funny. The food was delicious and we all had a wonderful evening.

What a great family event in an absolute lovely place! Cooking in a perfect Tuscan setting in a cosy kitchen, with an absolutely friendly, calm and very patient chef, taking a lot of time with everyone individually to explain the details. Mauro managed to motivate everyone to perfection. Also our boys (11 and 15) loved it! We did typical antipasti, primi (pasta), secondi (meat) and of course the delicious dessert (Tiramisu) ourselves! And finally you enjoy the dinner with a glass of wine at sunset with a great distant view over the vineyards and over the whole valley. Highly recommended!!
